The increase in the average global temperature is a consequence of high greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, using alternative energy carriers that can replace fossil fuels, especially for automotive applications, importance. Introducing more electronics into an battery pack provides precise control and increases available from pack. Battery-integrated modular multilevel converters (BI-MMCs) have efficiency, improved controllability, better fault isolation capability. However, integrating inverter influences maximum DC charging power. capabilities 5 3-phase BI-MMCs 40-ton commercial vehicle designed tractive power 400 kW was investigated. Two continuous scenarios are considered two cases: first considers total number submodules during traction, second to ensure voltage 1250 V. investigation shows both similar between 1 3 MW.
